Wellbeing, Creativity and Community: Bringing People Together Through Shared Experiences

There is something powerful about creating moments that allow us to pause, reconnect and take in what is around us.

Whether that is through movement, conversation, learning something new, spending time outdoors, or simply sharing meaningful experiences with others, these moments often bring perspective, calm, renewed energy and joy.

At Together we Breathe, the experiences we create are designed around exactly that idea: bringing people together through breathwork, creativity, wellbeing and shared connection.

Learning, Creativity and Connection

I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with brilliant teachers and practitioners across a wide range of wellbeing events and workshops. I am constantly meeting new and inspiring people, and it has also been wonderful to reconnect with people I’ve known through previous careers who are now making positive change and doing incredibly meaningful work in this space. I love that our paths are crossing again in this new way and that we are able to work together to create experiences that genuinely support people.

These have included thoughtful conversations around breast health awareness, life drawing sessions, movement and expression workshops, tea making sessions exploring the medicinal benefits of herbs, and conversations around women’s health and wellbeing.

Each event brings new perspectives, curiosity and genuine conversation. What I value most is how naturally people begin to relax, open up and engage when given the space to slow down and be present.

These experiences can also be curated for companies, brands, members clubs and communities looking to support wellbeing, learning and meaningful connection.

The Power of Breathwork

Breathwork continues to sit at the heart of Together we Breathe.Transformational breathwork is one of the breathwork practices I offer. It is a deeply powerful experience that invites people to connect more fully with themselves through the breath. It creates space to explore held emotions, shift patterns and access a deeper level of awareness, often beyond the thinking mind.

These sessions can be profound, and at times emotional and physical, offering a space for release, reflection and reconnection. Each experience is unique, guided with care, presence and intention.

Regular sessions currently take place across London in Peckham and Streatham. I feel deeply grateful to hold these spaces and witness what unfolds for people through the breath.

For many, this becomes a practice they return to, for emotional release, deeper spiritual connection, as well as clarity, insight and a stronger connection to themselves.

Wellbeing Retreats in Africa

These retreats combine nature, movement, breathwork and deep rest across three extraordinary locations: Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park and Munga Plains.

Guests experience wildlife, cultural encounters, mindful movement, breathwork and time in nature in ways that often create a lasting shift in perspective. I’m also starting to feel very excited about next month’s retreat, which I’ll be co-hosting with one of my favourite yoga teachers, Erin Prichard.

These retreats offer something very different from a traditional holiday. They create space for reflection, restoration and connection, both to yourself and to the natural world.

Together we Share

Food, atmosphere and shared meals are such an important part of wellbeing for me, and I always love discovering places that feel worth returning to and recommending.

A few recent favourites:

Hoppers
I had wanted to go here for years and finally made it. This vibrant Sri Lankan restaurant is now firmly one of my new favourites. Full of flavour, energy and atmosphere, it also reminded me that a trip to Sri Lanka is still very much on my bucket list.

Kolamba
A very stylish and cosy Sri Lankan spot in Soho. Perfect for a post shopping lunch or an easy dinner with friends, with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer.

Dishoom
All I can say is… it never disappoints. One of my all time favourite restaurants, and the black daal is unreal. Comforting, consistent and always full of character.

The Old Nun's Head
My new favourite local. The midweek pizzas are excellent and the Sunday roast is easily one of the best I have had in years. Great energy, and the Thursday night pub quiz is like no other.
