Wellbeing Retreats with Together we Breathe

Thoughtfully curated wellbeing retreat experiences across Africa and Tobago. Each retreat includes mindful movement, yoga and breathwork, alongside adventure and the opportunity to experience
local food and culture, with precious time to relax, restore and reconnect.

Our Africa wellbeing and safari retreats take place across Botswana and Zimbabwe, combining
immersive nature experiences with restorative wellbeing practices. The Reset Retreat in Africa,
co-hosted with Jo Glynn-Smith, offers a coaching led approach for those seeking clarity, focus
and direction. In Tobago, our island retreat provides a more restorative experience,
embracing the Caribbean sea, a slower pace of life and time to breathe.

I first visited Zimbabwe and Botswana in 2024, and the experience had a profound effect on me. From the beauty and vastness of the landscapes to visiting Victoria Falls, the journey deepened my connection to Africa and continues to shape the way I approach retreat experiences.

Moments such as teaching yoga on a boat travelling along the Zambezi River, with elephants on the riverbank and crocodiles in the water, while watching the most incredible pink sunrises over the Zambezi is a memory I will cherish forever. Travelling through Zimbabwe into Botswana, visiting Chobe National Park, camping under wide open skies and spending time at Munga Plains brought a deep sense of space, peace and perspective. Being close to elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos and so much more was truly magical.

Equally impactful was forming close connections with the people who guide and care for us throughout the journey. Learning about local culture through food, music, dance and their deep knowledge of the land and wildlife was enriching and humbling. Their warmth, generosity and kindness gave me time to reconnect with presence, perspective and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of nature and the extraordinary people across the world.

Tobago holds a very special place for me. I have travelled to the island on and off for almost 30 years, returning time and time again because there is nowhere quite like it.

Largely unspoilt and deeply peaceful, Tobago offers a rare sense of ease and natural beauty. The sea is extraordinary, clear, warm and alive. Over the years, I have seen giant turtles and swum above manta rays, moments that felt both breathtaking and deeply grounding. The island’s bird life is equally captivating, with hummingbirds appearing in many corners alongside an array of striking and colourful species. Time spent exploring Tobago’s rainforest, coastline and quieter inland spaces has offered a profound sense of calm and connection.

From hidden waterfalls and quiet coves to cocoa plantations and vibrant local culture, Tobago feels like a true treasure. A place where nature leads, time slows, and the body naturally softens. There is a joyful, vibrant energy to the island, the warmth of the people, the music, the dance and the food all make Tobago incredibly special and a place I feel compelled to share with others.

Kerry is deeply grateful to be able to share these special places with others. These retreats are not simply time away, but carefully curated experiences designed to support deep connection, reflection and renewal. Alongside yoga, breathwork and time immersed in nature, there is space to connect with like minded people, share meaningful moments and step out of everyday roles and routines.

Each retreat is held with care and intention, creating an environment where people feel supported to slow down, reconnect with themselves and form genuine connections with others, often leaving with a renewed sense of clarity, perspective and belonging.
